First the good: The pizza is on point! Nicely cooked, thin, crispy crust with a robust and flavorful sauce. One of the best pizza's in the area, hands down! Now the bad: Steak and cheese is below average. I have eaten thousands of steak and cheese's and this is one I will not eat again. The meat was too thin, tasted too frozen (we all know the meat is frozen, but this meat tasted extra frozen), and was more stringy than it needs to be. The bread was too soft, kind of soggy, and not toasted at all, almost tasting like bland paste. The bread was three times too large for the amount of meat used, and the season...

Pizza is absolutely delicious, but mozzarella sticks could be better. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

I am a NY pizza snob. I have tried all the local establishments and some further out from Leesburg (Tyson's, DC, etc.). Giovanni's in my opinion is the closest you can possibly get to true NY style pizza in this area. I always say that you can judge a place by if people from the particular area that restaurant is trying to represent are eating there (e.g. if you go to an Indian restaurant packed full of Indian people, you know it has to be good/authentic). I have seen a bunch of transplanted New Yorkers frequenting Giovanni's, so you know it has something going for it. I would highly recommend it to anybody...

Always give it 5 star food and services is awesome

All ingredients were very low quality. The Sicilian style thick crust was DiGiorno quality at best. They were very stingy with the toppings. I could hardly find any pepperoni or mushroom on my slice. The marinara was very bland no herbs or flavor at all. The garlic knots were hard not soft or buttery. Worst of all was the calamari. It filled the whole room with a disgusting funk and was a chewy soggy mess. Overall, this was an expensive disaster. We will absolutely never order from here again!

My family has been getting pizza here since I was a kid. It's as close to true Brooklyn style pizza you will get outside of NY (even there it's becoming hard to find...thanks hipsters). Even though I live a couple of hours away now, whenever I'm in the area I get a pie.

Decent pizza. Front counter staff are rude. Staff does not explain coupon policy. Inconsistent when it comes to coupon policy

My dad is Italian, born and raised in New York. He took our family here all the time since I was a kid. This food is equal, if not better than NY Italian food. Their sauce is amazing. Give this place a shot and you won’t regret it.

Just had lunch there as my family always do every week for the past 15 years, food is always great we love the steak & cheese sub, pizza and others, but the waitress was terrible. First she messed up the drink, brought the other table's food then completely avoid our table as she went around to ask if anything is needed. After 30 minutes I went to ask the kitchen for our food sure enough she also messed up our order. Finally it was the other waitress came to bring the check.

Don’t bother. The pepperoni pizza had enough grease on it to last a lifetime. Calamari smelled so fishy it was disgusting. Not even sure how one would feel good about selling something with that much odor. So many better options, pass on this.

Good pizza. Service at the tables is hit or miss depending on your waitress, and they they have a lot of turnover.

Having lunch here and there are ants on the silverware. I've been here before and the servers were rude and not helpful at all. Today was much of the same. I give everyone chances to prove themselves. We went to the male person running the restaurant and showed him the ants. His response was to throw the ants in the garbage. Where are the health inspectors when you need them? One waitress went around hugging every male she could find. Whilst she left all the work to be done by the other waitress!!! The refill we asked for? It never came. I've crossed this place off of my list!!!

The food here is always good. But the customer service has fallen way off. The waitress forgot to take our order.

One of the best steak & Cheese subs I've had in many years. Quality ingredients that others seem to always start out with. Then to make more money, they start to buy cheap ingredients. Not Giovanni's. I'd love to hear what you think, taste for yourself.

Giovannis's is always good for me. So far the place is perfect for family and friends gathering. Everytime I get the chance i visit it!

Good place. Good food. Nice people. Nothing will amaze you but nothing will make you sad either. The pizza steak is top notch. Go and have a good time. It's not fancy but homey. Like you are at mom's house.

The pizza is not terrible but it's not great either. It's almost always soggy in the middle.. even when cooked crispy. Can't speak on other menu items because I've only gotten the pizza. We also has calimari on previous occasions.. again passable but not the best I've ever had. I'd give the food a strong C+ .. don't get me wrong we eat here 1-2 times a month it's just not the reason we come here. Now that being said, we still come here 1-2 times a month because it is a great restaurant for families. It's not fancy so if you have young kids you can be relaxed and don't have to worry about bothering other gues...

Pasta dishes were very good. Fast and fair prices.
